Laminated some reinforcing pads on the sides near the transom this afternoon which will help with the brackets I plan to bolt on the stern corners for attaching a drouge in storm weather.  I dont want to rely on the mooring cleats alone.

 Also did some reinforcing over the plywood butt joints.  Have to wait for the epoxy to cure so rigged up my boat lifting tackle to test.

Lifted the boat including the strongback and supporting timber with no problem at all.  It should be easy to position the boat any way that makes it easy to work on.  I can do it all by myself so dont need to rely on help.  Going to make cutting list for glass to cover the hull this evening and prepare for tomorrow afternoons session.
