Laminated reinforcement on last chine
This has an overlap over the bow section so double thickness.
Also did some reinforcement on the corners of the transom. Sanded the reinforcement glassing from yesterday. Next job is to add some glass reinforcement on the joins of the ply. I will add extra glass reinforcement on the transom in the stress areas of the rudder pintles and skegs after glassing the transom. Weather dry tomorrow so got to go to work in the morning. I hope to finish all the prep glassing tomorrow afternoon so I can plan the main glassing of the hull. I will do the sides and the chine section first and then take the boat off the strongback and lower it down to make glassing the bottom easy. I built the boat high to make it easy to climb inside but plan to move it down for bottom work while upside down.
